Hi, World. This is Loki. He is a 7 month-old, neutered Border Collie/Labradoodle mix (Bordoodle). Our family has grown to love this sweet guy, but unfortunately we can no longer keep him. He is not aggressive, but he's an excitable pup. He jumps up and nips/chews while playing, and we have autistic children in our family who are very scared of him. He was recently neutered on Feb. 2, and I'm told that some of his excitability will likely go away soon. My husband and I just don't have the time (or skills!) to properly train him now though. We won't be charging anything for him, and he'll come with his crate, toys, harness, grooming, etc. However, we would like to take a somewhat gradual approach to rehoming so that he doesn't get too stressed. This is not an easy decision for us to make, and we want a smooth transition for him.

Things to love about Loki:

• Fully house trained - rings potty bell on door to go out
• Likes to cuddle; affectionate
• Funny and playful; great with kids
• Well behaved overnight & when home alone (non-crated)
• Well behaved on walks - nicely greets other people, dogs, & cats
• Hypoallergenic/non-shedding
• Knows basic commands like Sit, Stay, Down, Come
• Up to date on all vaccines, deworming, exams, tests, etc.

Things to consider about Loki:

• Currently about 45lbs, will be 50-55lbs full grown
• Barks when someone knocks; afraid of strangers in the house
• Regressed on crate-training (but still working on it)
• Jumps up and nips/chews when over-excited while playing
• Exhibits some resource guarding with our younger children
• Aggressive chewer - needs toys without stuffing!
