The jacket is a little to small for me when I put the insulating insert in so I have decided to sell it to get a larger one. I used it in 35F to 100F weather. It is very well ventilated and the insulating layer is effective for cold weather riding. This really is a great multi-season jacket. With all the possible pads (chest and back), I'd say it fits 44 inch chest. I am at 46 and this is a little too tight.
