I have a heavy bloom speckled olive egger hen that is back crossed under a Maran Rooster to make this pullet. (hoping for a really dark green, but have a 50 chance to loose the blue egg shell gene) She came from the egg pictured, that I am holding in that picture. The hen lays speckled and heavy bloom eggs all the time and I am hoping she passes that gene on to her offspring.
