All new snakes are kept in quarantine for at least three months and must show no proof of mites or receive a positive nidovirus test during this time. As such, we sell all snakes with a guarantee of being free of mites and nidovirus, though as a general practice recommend quarantining all new reptiles for a minimum of 90 days in a separate room from other reptiles.
