Selling my trusty crf450x. Built for Baja but unfortunately never made it down there. I’m selling because I just don’t ride enough anymore.
Lots of upgrades. Unsure on the engine hours. I have a meter but the screen is glitching. 2 years ago I redid the top end at Alpine XC. New stainless steel valves, piston, seals, etc. Since then I have not ridden very much. Probably 4-5 rides. I have always taken great care of her. Air filter cleaned replaced each ride. Oil change every 3 rides.
Upgrades: Fmf mega bomb exhaust header Lexx pipe Hinson clutch cover The clutch itself is not Hinson. But recently replaced with new plates and springs. New tires front and rear. Suspension front and rear sent to AHM in California and rebuilt for fast desert riding. Tuned for my weight. 220 Lbs. Engine, exhaust, radiator, and brake rotor guards. Thumper jockey pod lights. Probably not Baja worthy, but definitely enough for night riding in Utah.
Cons: Needs a desert tank to be truly a baja bike. The stock tank gets you about 60 miles. Battery needs replaced. You have to kick start it from cold right now but once it charges the e start works. These are not necessarily easy bikes to start from cold especially in the winter on a cold day. Takes a strong leg and a bit of a routine with the choke. I will let serious buyers only test ride. Cash needs to be in hand.
