ApplePayThis is a kit of 6 control arms for a Tesla Model X.
This is a common issue with Teslas - the control arms go out prematurely and the rubber ball joins make noises. You will hear creeking and sometimes popping sounds.
This repair usually costs about $1600 to get done. You can save a lot by doing it yourself ($250 if you do all labor, $800 if we do it). It will take 2 hours per upper (wishbone) control arm, and 1 hour for each lower control arm, so about 8 hours total to do all 6 (3 on each side).
