Best golf in Utah! Getaway to St. George for 3 nights and stay in my beautiful condo at the new 5-star Black Desert Resort. I'm offering a last minute deal if book within 7 days of arriving for $900 total for 3 nights.
Golf is extra and is discounted $250/person if before March 12th and then it increases to $325/pp a round of 18. A round includes food, drinks, cart, a forecaddie, access to practice range/36 hole green, and a keepsake for each golfer.
Enjoy a spacious 580 square foot ground floor condo in the Resort Center with expansive 13 foot ceilings that make it feel so airy and palatial, 2 super dreamy plush pillow top queen beds and a full size pullout sofa (sleep 6), beautiful full kitchen with marble tops and Wolf appliances, small dining table for 2, large TV with every channel, beautiful bathroom with huge glass shower, and a large balcony with lounge chairs and table and gorgeous views of the red rock mountains and large palm trees.
The automated roll-down shades are also very nice for black-out or not. The lights, TV, shades are all controlled by an ipad by your bedside which is fun for the techies at heart. Everything is programmed and fun to use. The sunrise and sunset is so breathtaking as it lights up the red rock as you gaze out your 13 foot tall wall of windows while relaxing on your super comfy plush bed. You park right underneath the building in a convenient, shaded underground garage equipped with a bell cart for luggage and an easy elevator right to your floor. On arrival at check-in, there is also a bellman to wisk away your luggage (and clubs) to your room, so you can easily park and walk up with no hassles or fussing with a bell cart.
Dining insights: I highly recommend breakfast or lunch on the water at Latitude Restaurant to take in the beautiful waterfall sound and view of the 19th hole. The Eggs Benedict and avacado toast are so good! And for a formal fine dining experience, definitely try Basalt Steakhouse at sunset (reserve table ahead of time). It's pricey, but nothing beats their filet mignon with that amazing desert sunset over the red rock and the green from the golf course.
Golf course: The much talked about PGA Championship golf course is one-of-a-kind and a total must see. That red rock backdrop with perfectly manicured fairways surrounded by jet black lava fields has to be experienced in person! It's so special. Also you can enjoy a 2 acre putting practice facility and a driving range with Trackman technology. And 20th Hole Restaurant on-site with indoor golf simulator bays you can rent for $50/hr. in the evenings while enjoying wonderful food and drinks. Golf all weekend indoor and outdoor.
Other fun activities: Rent an e-bike offered on property and ride up on smooth paved trails through Snow Canyon located only 1 mile away for the most dreamy Zion Canyon-like nature experience you will always remember. And be sure to check Tuacahn Amphitheater's show and concert schedule to catch an amazing Broadway musical or concert in the most incredible red rock mountain backdrop scene.
Booking Details: Must book within 7 days of coming. Credit card to be on file at front desk at check-in. $900 for 3 nights during off-season, non holidays or big events (normally $1,400 - great deal!). Based on availability. Cleaning fee is included. If you don't care to golf, and just want to come enjoy the resort experience, I will check last minute availability for you within 7 days and reserve 3 nights for you and you'll put credit card on file at front desk when you arrive to check-in for things you buy and incidentals.
