Hi, I’m Zeke! A 1.5-year-old Border Collie/German Shepherd mix trying my best to figure out this whole shelter thing. My world changed when my owner’s work schedule changed, and they didn’t think it was fair for me to spend all day in a crate. So now I’m here, learning that new beginnings can still be good ones.

I’m still settling in, so the humans are getting to know me more each day but here’s what they’ve learned so far about me:

I’m a sensitive guy with a big heart. New places and big changes can make me a little anxious at first, so I need time to feel safe and understand my surroundings. Once I start to trust you, though, I really want to bond! I’m already beginning to show my volunteers just how much I want a person of my own.

I recently got to play with a sweet female dog named Honey, and guess what? I did great! We played together so nicely and had a really fun time. Having a dog friend could be something I really enjoy.
