We’ve been intentionally breeding since 2010 with one goal: to continually improve the breed. Our program has produced dogs placed with border patrol, search and rescue teams, the USDA, as well as countless successful hunting homes and loving families. We are constantly studying and implementing current research to give our puppies the strongest possible start in life.
This litter is being raised right in the middle of our family. Our puppies are handled daily by both of us and our two boys. As they grow, they explore our yard, experience varied terrain, and are exposed to new smells and sounds. With chickens, goats, cats, and even a pig around, they are building early confidence and adaptability that translates into stable, capable adult dogs.
Each puppy: • Has had dewclaws removed and will come with full registration • Has completed Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) • Will be dewormed • Will receive their first vaccinations • Is raised with purposeful socialization and care
Tease (Dam)- The mother is a stunning 65lb AKC Black Labrador who truly does it all. She is the perfect balance of a driven athlete and a dependable family companion. Whether she’s in the field or on the couch, her temperament is unmatched. Performance: High hunt drive, incredible retriever, and remarkably easy to train. Home Life: Calm and well-mannered indoors; she is excellent with other dogs and a natural sweetheart. Health Clearances: EIC/CNM Clear OFA hips good, CERF clear
Mookie (Sire)- Mookie: In field trials he has an All-Age Amateur Win with 13 points (only 2 points to achieve AFC), Qualified All Age two times, competed in the 2022 National Derby Championship in Missouri for field trials and made it 8/10 of the series with an amateur handling. In hunt tests he has his Master Hunter title with 12 Master passes and finished the Master Nationals for 2023. Sired by National Field Champion Bayou Teche Swing for the Fence (Foxx). Mookie can turn it on in competitions with an amazing off switch when not competing. He is a well-mannered gentleman in the home and a chill buddy who can be taken everywhere, including flying as a service dog. Mookie looks for opportunities to please. He has his Embark health testing completed, eye testing completed, OFA hips/elbows, cardiac screening, and patellar ligament testing. In the off season he loves hunting waterfowl, pheasants in North Dakota, pup cups from Sodalicious, runs in the rain on the beaches of Oregon, and he does like yoga with his owner.
