Jay is a 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback who just celebrated his birthday on January 30th! At about 85 pounds, he’s the perfect mix of strength, loyalty, and pure love.

Jay is incredibly people-oriented and thrives on being close to his humans. He’s affectionate, devoted, and happiest when he’s by your side. If you’re looking for a true companion dog, Jay is your guy.

He is fully potty trained and does best with regular activity — walks, runs, hikes, or any kind of exercise to help channel his energy. He’s a high-energy boy who will need continued training, but he’s very smart and eager to learn. With consistency and structure, he has so much potential to truly shine.

Jay does experience some separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home where someone is around often or committed to helping him work through it. He bonds deeply and just wants to feel secure with his people.
