Friday, today pickup is cancelled. But we have Sat pick up still and may add Sunday. Possibly a day early in the week. Sat 10-5 probably Sunday 11-4 ( time change). And Monday 4-7.
Yes I'm Randy in Sandy who has sold golden raspberry starts for 15 years. I'm thinking they are the fall gold variety or similar. We only prune off the flowered tops of the floricanes so we get a big June crop and then a fall crop on the primocanes.
This will be the last weekend to transplant these as the leaf buds are swelling or leafing out. Next week's forcast has some 60's and I'm positive they will be leafing out to much to transplant.
4 max 8$ each. Compare to big box stores or nurseries. 12.99$
2nd to last picture is a pretty average start.
It is snowing and 2" on the ground. It's the Lake effect.
These have thorns they are ever bearing. These starts have extensive roots and nice canes so you will get some fruit this June. They prefer full sun 8 hours or more and benefit from afternoon shade. They prefer well drained soil but need a drink most days during nune- October in my Sandy soil. Less in heavier soil. Water-logged like in heavy clay Soils and low spots for over 24 hours can kill them.
