VenmoThis is Little Red (Red), she is a 6 year old green broke mustang mare that needs a job! She is out of Delta, UT.
I had the intentions of making her a trail horse, and start her in an arena, but my physical and mental health have halted me from doing so, I got sick shortly after I got her in 2024, and having more and more health issues arise. I unfortunately have decided I need to rehome her somewhere that will give her a job, give her the time and experience she deserves, and would take really good care of her. She's my first horse and I love her dearly, which is why I have decided to rehome her, to no fault of her own. I'm asking $2000 obo for her, now low balls or nonsense.
She's a great little horse with a lot of potential, she just need a job, more miles on her, and more experience than what I can provide for her. I've had her for 2 years now and she's been an easy keeper. No real issues that couldn't be solved at home. She hasn't coliced with me, and picks up her feet- back feet she can be a little testy with still.
Bill of Sale from BLM in hand 13hh give or take, stocky, solid legs, sturdy hind quarters, and sure footed. She would make a good trail horse, pack horse, and even a potential ranch/cow horse (where I got her from she lived with cows in a pasture and seemed to enjoy rounding up cows.) Stands mostly for the farrier- she is barefoot and I never put shoes on her. She can get testy, have been working on it. Easy catch- stands still when catching, tacking up/down, grooming, etc (we fixed the saddle blanket in the picture of her tacked up, but even with it slid down her back she didn't react.) Solid groundwork- she has really solid groundwork on her. She does what's asked once you have her full brain engaged, and does respond to very, very light pressure and pointing. Does great in the round pen! No nonsense under saddle, has never bucked under saddle. Tacks up/down appropriately with no issues. Has been ponied and does great ponying. Shes very curious and likes to be around people. She'll come up to the gate/fence/railing and greet you to say hi. Loves to be scratched, and will even groom back (if you allowed it. I corrected that behavior with me.) Takes a bit but still learning, still learning pressure/release and neck reigning. Teeth/dental care done last May 2025 Dewormed in October 2025 Has never foaled Has been on trail rides, been around dogs, and other livestock/animals. Has been around heavy machinery (mini X, tractor, back hoe, compactors, etc) ATVs, quads, and dirt bikes. She is mildly spooky/reactive, but doesn't become explosive usually.
She is green broke, must be an experienced rider/horse person. NOT BEGINNER FRIENDLY, will not sell to someone looking for a bombproof/dead broke/meemaw/kid horse.
