This unique shape is Viberg's original creation dating back to 2007. It features a generous E width through out which will accommodate most types of feet.
The sprung toe allows for a rocking motion while wearing and was commonly used on hard soled military boots in the early 1900s to allow easier break-in and comfort for during long periods of wear. Then, added a generous toe bump to allow room for your toes to walk. The heel height is also based off traditional logging boots which allows for full support on your feet.
This iteration features C.F. Stead's rugged Waxy Commander tannage. The Commander leather is a heavyweight waxed suede that undergoes a special curing process to shrink and tighten the fiber structure, making it exceptionally tough, durable, and water-resistant. The leather's waxy finish and high pull-up allow for a slow, rich development. Fitted with British Dainite outsoles for extra grip and protection in wet weather environments.
Please note manufacturer recommends sizing down 1 full size than your standard size or sizing down 1/2 size if your feet are wide
