ZelleWe have two small/med sized young roo's from a hatch last year (will be 1 yr in Sept). White bird in pic 1 and Black bird in pic 2. My hen sat on and raised them up but they are still very docile and good temperment around people and kiddos. They dont let me touch them. Papa roo is a Silverrudd Blue which is an excellent breed of rooster and he's proved to be great tempered.
Needing to he-home them as there are just too many roos to hens for our flock. Sad to see the white beauty named "Marshmallow" go, and the Black "Striker" is handsome as well. They would not make good meat birds as they are on the small side. I suspect they came from my bantam hen given their mini size. They seem mature, breeding and crowing, but they may continue to fill out a bit.
$10 each or $15 for both.
