GooglePayHer name is Irie.
She would do best in a home where she can get plenty of affection and attention, because she can be a bit clingy (in an endearing way). If you’ve ever wanted a cat who stands on her hind legs and begs for affection... that’s Irie.
Her clinginess varies, though. In general, she is not high-maintenance. She’s pretty quiet, lithe, and graceful. She loves to put her front paws on you and just watch you while you do what you’re doing, cocking her head back and forth like she’s trying to parse your brain and understand your strange, giant species.
When she’s not in an attention-seeking mood, she is very independent and walks around like she owns the place, like a kind landlord who is graciously allowing you to live with her (free room and board and all). She is very generous, you see.
She is a tuxie with a very unique coat (a sort of reverse-smoke look); her fur is white underneath with darker black tips. And I’m pretty sure she knows it. She responds to Irie, and also Lady (and Lady Irie).
She is very clever and intelligent and, in my personal opinion, she reminds me of a fox. I don’t know why. She just does. I think she may have told me that herself, although I know cats can’t speak… unless she’s hiding something. Knowing her, she may be. She’s too smart for her own good.
Edit: she just told me why she reminds me of a fox. Because she looks like one and I subconsciously picked up on it. Her face tapers at the end and she has big ears. I KNEW she could talk.
She is vaccinated and litter trained. She is not spayed, but if necessary, we can have that done before rehoming. She appears to get along better with male cats rather than females, so that may be something to keep in mind. She is around 7 years old.
We need to rehome her because I (wife) have become fully disabled, and taking care of so many cats has become too difficult. Like our other cat listings, this is not an easy relinquishment, but we are trying to do what is best for them in the long run. We hope she finds a good, loving home.
We would prefer pickup, but if absolutely necessary, we may be able to arrange drop-off within about 50 minutes.
(had to put a price; she is free)
