GooglePayHer name is Brownie. She is very fluffy and, oh, so beautiful.
She is very cuddly, but not suffocatingly so. She is not clingy, but she WILL wait for you in bed and sleep next to your head, purring loudly. She tends to get the zoomies toward the evening (not too late) and loves to play with anything you dangle in front of her.
She is also incredibly polite; she keeps her tail down and curled under, covering her butt when she walks. VERY considerate of her. Unfortunately, that habit has not rubbed off on our other cats, so, sadly, I cannot guarantee that she will pass this etiquette on to any other cats you may already have.
She is very intelligent and, honestly, very calculating. It seems like anything she does, she runs through her head several times before acting. I don’t think she has ever done anything by accident without first running at least a dozen and a half simulations.
Brownie loves to curl up into herself and cuddle next to whoever she chooses at the time. She will likely end up choosing one favorite person and sticking to them.
To be completely serious, though, she is unhappy in her current situation, and it is quite obvious. To be fully honest, out of all our cats, Brownie is the one we feel needs rehoming the most - not for our convenience, but because she is genuinely unhappy in this environment. She needs to be in a single-cat household (or at least one with no more than one other cat). She is deeply unhappy being surrounded by so many cats, and it simply is not good for her. She needs a home where she can get the attention she deserves without it being divided among many others.
I’m also pretty sure she would love to show off the vibrant personality she has buried underneath... the one she mostly only shows us when the other cats are not around.
She does not like to be picked up at first. But the more she gets to know you and grow attached to you - especially once she picks her person - she will very likely change her mind (for us, that was our daughter).
Brownie is 6 years old, litter trained, and has had her necessary checkups and vaccines. She is not spayed but if necessary, we can try to arrange that beforehand.
She is a shy little lady, a bit skittish (endearingly so), and very loyal.
We need to rehome her because of her needs above and because I (wife) have become fully disabled, and taking care of so many cats has become too difficult. Like our other cat listings, this is not an easy relinquishment, but we are trying to do what is best for them in the long run. We hope she finds a good, loving home.
We would prefer pickup, but if absolutely necessary, we may be able to arrange drop-off within about 50 minutes.
She is free to good home but I had to put down something for price.
