It still runs and completes cycles, but it’s making a loud clicking noise while operating (see attached video to hear the issue). The original 10‑year Maytag warranty is specifically on the drive motor and wash basket, so there may still be coverage for those parts for someone willing to go through Maytag.
I’m only selling because I bought a new washer and don’t want to deal with the warranty/repair process. Great deal for someone handy with appliances or who wants to take advantage of the remaining motor/basket warranty and end up with a solid high‑capacity washer for cheap.
