Taking reservations on our litter of Hecker Terriers (Blue Heeler x Decker Terrier). Will be ready to go mid April. 5 females and 2 males available. These gorgeous puppies will be extremely loyal family companions, running partners, truck dogs, hunting buddies, and "critter gitters." With both hunting and herding instincts, these higher energy dogs are suitable for farms and large yards. They will have higher exercise requirements but will likely have an "off switch". They will also thrive off family companionship. They will make excellent watch dogs and good running or working companions. They will happily rid your farm or yard of varmits, but when raised around small animals and birds, can accept them as part of the pack.

Decker Terriers are a medium sized hunting dog that make excellent family companions and are excellent with children. Deckers are very beautiful and thus attract plenty of attention. As a newer breed, Decker terriers are hard to find and are well sought after. Mainly used as a hunting (varmit) dog, they can be trained to hunt a variety of prey, but also make excellent running. working, and family companions. They can excel at other things like scent detection, agility, and Service Dog work as they are athletic and very trainable. The mother of the puppies is incredibly smart and beautiful and has been shown in 4H, excelling at obedience work and agility. She is social with people and other dogs and has been taught to accept our farm animals and birds. She loves and is patient with our toddler and also loves to run beside my son while he is in his go-kart, or on his bike. She is a wonderful "kid dog" and is happy to go wherever and do whatever our family does.

The sire of the puppies is a Blue Heeler. He is an excellent watch dog, protecting home, family, and the pickup truck from strangers. He is very loyal to his family and keeps an eye on the other farm animals he lives with.

We believe in early training and socialization of our puppies so These puppies will be started on some basic training prior to leaving to new homes. $100 to reserve your puppy.
