This machine was used for prototypes in a university lab for a few years and has seen light use. I’ve kept it oiled and run it periodically to keep it in good working order. I don’t use it much and can’t justify keeping it around any longer.

I’ve used it for deep pocket cuts in aluminum, light steel cuts, plastics and wood, making gaskets with the included drag knife, etching, and milling circuit boards with the included carbide and micro bits.

If you’ve ever bought or used a Chinese mini mill, you will know they are typically made of low quality castings that need significant work to do any quality machining. The Taig milling machines are made in the USA and do not have cast parts. They are all precision machined and ground for high tolerances. You just need to do a little tramming of the head and your in business, pumping out high quality precision parts.

Here are the specs and what comes with the mill. I am including a lot of extras that would cost hundreds of dollars if you were to start fresh with a new system.
