Lucky Icons - It incorporates several other lucky charms, including:
Daruma Doll - Seen at the top of the mallet, representing perseverance and good luck.Lucky Mallet (Uchide no kozuchi) Held in the other hand to "tap out" fortune.
Red Snapper (Tai) - A symbol of celebration and being "congratulatory".
Japanese Calligraphy - The symbols on the paws and base often translate to "Full of Customers" (O-Iri) or "Fortune" (Fuku).
