ApplePayWe are needing to rehome our 6 year old Mini Goldendoodle. Located in Meridian. $100 rehoming fee. She is spayed and I believe she’s due for her rabies shot, but otherwise should be up to date.
She is diabetic and we’ve had a really difficult time getting her regulated. Due to work and family obligations, we need to find a home that can keep up with her medical needs and expenses.
She is currently on 13 units of Vetsulin twice per day. This costs about $160 per month. She also takes Proin pills. These are more affordable. I think they’re around $100 every 6 months.
We need to find someone who has the time and resources to deal with her condition and work with a vet to try to get her diabetes stabilized. We’ve been trying for the past year and still aren’t there. She’ll also need to go a home where owners have the ability to be home consistently every day to give her shots twice daily.
She is house trained, however, she will have accidents when left in her crate for several hours if her glucose is unregulated.
She is very smart and trainable. She rings the bell on the back door to be let out. She automatically gets in her place when we sit down to meals. She also knows sit, down, wait, leave it, give me a paw, pretty, roll over, and dance.
She’s very friendly and good with other animals and loves people. The only aggression she’s ever shown is if you try to take food away from her.
