CashAppThese 275 gallon totes are also known as an intermediate bulk containers, IBC tanks or IBC totes.
I currently have 14 available.
The containers are made from an industrial strength food grade plastic and previously held a food grade glycerine in them. The containers have been rinsed and ready to go! (AKA they are safe for drinking water.)
Each container holds the same capacity as 5 of those 55-gallon drums (the blue water barrels) in less space, especially considering they can be stacked.
They are fine to just be stored in the garage or somewhere like that, as they are in a metal cage (so the part with the water in it wouldn't be resting on the concrete). I don't recommend storing them in a basement, as there wouldn't be a good way to rotate the water. It is recommended that you rotate the water in these every 6 months.
The totes are fully sealable with a 6 screw on lid on top and a 2 valve on the bottom. You fill it from the top and drain it at the bottom.
Approximate dimensions are 4' Wide x 4' Tall x 4' Long. (The metal cage adds another couple of inches onto the total dimensions.) The total weight is about 135 lbs.
