ZelleThis is an extremely nice original hood removed from a 66 hi-po convertible. There is zero damage, no rust and no evidence of previous body work that I can see. It does not appear to have been repainted. It was likely stripped to bare metal when the car was painted in the late 80's or the hood was an NOS hood used for the first time. Photo of the reverse stamped date code shows it's a genuine Ford hood. There are no marks or damage on the hood molding or MUSTANG letters. I do not know whether those are genuine Ford parts or reproductions. All lines are laxer straight and have included photos of angles showing them. The hood is painted in the 66 Candy Apple red. The paint may or may not match other painted panels that are on your car due to paint mixtures could be slightly different, but the quality is nice enough to bolt it on as-is. Show car quality. Local pick up or I can ship freight at your expense. Hood is stored inside of a GM hood box that fits perfectly so it is ready to ship if needed.
