GooglePayHi everyone, due to a complicated divorce situation, we are forced to rehome our sweet german shepherd. We are her second family. She is 8 years old, very sweet and loving. She is very chill and mainly prefers to lie around resting most of the day. She does love to play but isn't as spry as she once was. She likes a very calm game of chase the ball. She is great with cats, kids, and strangers. She is wary of strange dogs and doesn't like when other dogs in the neighborhood bark, she will bark back. Her barking has been controlled by the use of a bark collar if you have a lot of neighborhood dogs or people who walk their dogs by your fence. She would need a fenced yard. She stays in the fence or in the house when told and respects her home boundaries. She is well trained and knows many commands. She has a sensitive stomach and needs a consistent diet of dog food, as table scraps have the tendency to make her sick. She is a very chill lady who needs a loving home, preferably with children. She loves children, and is very bonded to them. For instance, she always chooses to sleep next to the beds of my 5 children. If they are outside, she wants to be with them. And when they come in, she wants to come in with them. She also very much loves cats. In her previous home she had a dog that she was bonded to. But I haven't had other dogs so I'm not sure how that introduction period would need to happen. Please ask any additional questions. My number is 828-782-7082. We live in Springville.
