This is the closest you can get to the classic DW sound without breaking the bank. If you research the discontinued PDP platinum series, these were made with the same American Maple that the DW performance series are crafted from, assembled in Mexico. I have absolutely loved these drums, however I recently picked up a kit I’ve wanted for a long time.

Sizes are 10”, 12” rack toms, 14”, 16” floor toms with a 22” kick. With the right heads these things sound AMAZING, I played live shows with this kit regularly and have always gotten compliments on the sound, especially the kick drum. I’ve had these drums for about 7 years now, and they’ve never let me down. Heads are in good shape, they’re about 4-5 months old.

Some of the shells are showing their age, with a few bumps and bruises (some if not most of them prior to my ownership) but nothing that affects sound or performance, just cosmetic.

I have some hardware I can include, such as rack tom mounts, hi hat stand, and I may have a Gibraltar rack I can include for a extra (will get photos of that today) but this is mainly just the shells (no cymbals or cymbal stands)
