This is the hardest post I have ever had to make. I will include as much info as I can.
Dottie is the most intelligent dog I have ever met. She has had extensive training on obedience and behavior. She knows tons of tricks and picks up new ones better than any dog I have ever had. She can walk on a lead at heal seamlessly. She will lay in a stay indefinitely. She knows for a treat to be laying down calm and waiting. She is goofy, you will know how she feels as she loves to talk. She is loyal, no matter what I am up to, she is lying at my feet.
She gets along with other confident dogs, and would LOVE if you have some dogs but struggles with very timid female dogs.
I am rehoming Dottie due to her aggressive behavior. She has nipped a range of different people, including trying to nip a baby who is living with me which is the ultimate reason she cannot live at my house anymore. She has never broken skin, but she does nip when she feels uncomfortable. We have managed it, and she has gotten loads better with training, but with a baby in the house, we are no longer comfortable keeping her here. She would do best in a home with no children.
Fully potty trained and crate trained.
She would do very well with someone who understands guardian dogs and can work with her body and mind.
I love her like a best friend and this is a very hard decision, but I believe it to be the safe one, with a baby here.
She is spayed and caught up on shots. Let me know if you have any questions.
