These old machines are well built. I aquired this planer a couple months ago and was blown away by how capable this machine is. The sticker on the front is no joke; this planer will take off 1/2" of material in one pass. I've been using it to plane rough sawn lumber to final thickness. It is working great.

The knives need to be ground using the onboard grinder to take the knicks out of the them.

I'm willing to sell this because I want to upgrade to a planer that will accept an 8" timber.

I upgraded the motor to a 7.5hp model.

I'm currently using the machine on single phase 240v using an included phase converter. Since it's a 3 phase motor you can hook it up to 3 phase power too.

I can deliver anywhere from Scipio to Provo to Brigham City to Cache Valley.

I cannot have visitors at my shop out of respect for the property owners.
