ApplePaySelling the 4.77 differential from my Series 2 RX-8 R3. I can sell either the complete differential or just the ring and pinion which is compatible with series 5 - Series 8 RX-7s and/or Eunos JC Cosmo (the torsen LSD is also interchangeable as well).
There is nothing wrong with this differential. The only reason I’m selling it is because I needed to switch to a 4.44 to compensate for running a 35 sidewall tires instead of the standard 40 sidewall tires. Otherwise this diff has done very well and has always been serviced every 20,000-30,000 miles.
*Also, just to clear confusion, I did swap my Series 2 diff cover over to the 4.44 and installed the Series 1 diff cover onto the S2 4.77 diff.
Asking price is $800 (this price is also the same for just the ring and pinion - which will ship for free if just buying those).
