Zelle17’ Burro Camping Trailer – Tiny Egg, Big Potential 🥚
Our family has outgrown our 17’ 1998 Burro camper — a classic fiberglass “egg” camper with vintage vibes and loads of personality. She’s lightweight, towable by many small SUVs and trucks, and compact enough to store easily. Think cozy, not cramped. Inside features a full bed, two kid-sized bunk beds, toilet, shower, sink, fridge, and plenty of cabinet space.
This camper does need some repairs and TLC, as reflected in the listing price. It’s not a hop-in-and-head-to-Arches situation just yet. There are areas that need fixing, refreshing, and possibly some creative problem-solving.
This would be a great project for someone wanting a budget-friendly entry into camper life, an adventurous DIYer, someone handy (or aspiring to be), or a weekend tinkerer looking for their next obsession. With some elbow grease and imagination, this little Burro could be transformed into a cozy getaway pod, hunting/fishing basecamp, festival sleeper, or guest space.
