The clock still ticks like Grandpa did, Steady… proud… and loud, . There’s shelves for books or knickknacks, Furniture that’s solid wood, And furniture so sturdy It’ll outlive your neighborhood.
Mom says, “Please sell it quickly.” We say, “Please come and see!” Because if you don’t buy this stuff… The garbage it will be.
So come adopt some furniture Before we lose our nerve— These treasures need a brand-new home And honestly… it will continue to well serve.
