Owned him for the last 12 years, but he hasn’t been used much in the last 9 years while I've been raising kids. So he is out of shape and can be pushy. He has some arthritis setting into his right hip. It improves greatly with exercise. He will not be a horse for 12 hour days, in steep terrain. Which is why he is for sale. Would be fine for a step up horse or intermediate rider wanting some more experience. He can be forward and act like he has things to do, but actually isn’t that much horse.
I think he would excel for a confident/intermediate rider, that is riding under the direction of an experienced rider. He is very out of practice and could use better ground manners, can be hard to bridle, and can be pushy or ignore cues. With consistent riding, he does great. No buck, bolt, never mean. Asking $2500 OBO
Open to trades for younger horses that need work.
