This is moose. He is a male chinchilla and one of the softest animals on the planet. They are incredibly fascinating creatures. They energetic and they like to be played with. Will happily ride on your shoulder while you walk around the house. Definitely a different pet then the run of the mill hamster. Everybody loves him and wants to pet him. We've had them for four or five years we think. Our youngest typically takes care of him but she really wants to move into a tortoise and nobody else wants to clean the cage and give him the love he deserves. We have some hay in the blue bin and a pop out pen that you can kind of put in a living room. We have a little carrier and some hay pellets and his dust bath that goes with the cage setup in the pictures. He is ready to go to a good family. We just cleaned the cage as well.
