This handmade chicken coop has been designed and constructed with a conscientious impact on our Earth, this project is constructed from reclaimed lumber. It has been designed to comfortably house 5 to 6 nesting hens. This coop is complete with an accessible, weather-proof storage room for chicken feed and supplies. This coop features a slide-out floor for easy cleaning of the roosting area. There are access doors to the nesting boxes, the roosting area, and the storage area. The roofing is recycled tin and easily sheds water. The walls are 1/2-inch plywood with tarpaper and pine siding. Other features include: adjustable ventilation in the soffit, two nesting boxes, and two roosting sticks.

Interior roosting area: 48” deep x 35” wide x 26" tall at lowest point, 36 at highest point.

Storadge area: 16 1/2" deep x 35" wide x 26" tall at lowest point, 36 at highest point

The coop stands on 25" stilts to give shade and protection to the chickens.
