Big Mac is a 9 year old 17 hand, 1/2 Draft Gelding.
He is by a Percheron stud, out of a daughter of Dunnit With A Twist.
Big mac is broke, broke, broke. He turns around correct, stops hard for a big horse and has a nice collected smooth lope. He has been used to rope and doctor all classes of cattle in the pasture and is a personal favorite if I've got something big and soggy to rope.
He is cool headed in the branding pen and on the trail. He is not a hot horse, but he is not one that needs to be peddled all day long. He stays broke even with time off and has been good for intermediate riders.
You can mount him from a mounting block, a flatbed or a rock, he doesn't care.
I also packed out game and salt on him in his younger years.
We ride him straight up in the bridle but he will ride in anything. He is good to shoe(hot or cold), bridle & saddle.
We love this horse and the only reason he is leaving our place is because we need to finish our new house. We have an arena and cattle here at the house to try him on. We will have a video available here in the next few days.
