Meet Jack!

Warning: Jack may steal your heart… and every squeaky toy in the house.

Hi there, I’m Jack, a 4-year-old Shepherd mix looking for a fresh start and a family to call my own.

My story hasn’t been the easiest. My previous owner left me behind, but a kind friend made sure I got somewhere safe and brought me to the shelter. I was pretty scared at first, but once I realized the people here were nice, I started warming up quickly.

Now that I’m settling in, everyone is learning more about me and they’ve discovered something important…

I LOVE toys! Especially squeaky toys! Toss one for me and I’m a happy guy. I also really enjoy playing fetch, which is one of my favorite ways to spend time with people.

A little about me:

• About 4 years old - Shepherd Mix
• Male (not neutered yet)
• Very sweet and friendly
• Non-reactive with other shelter dogs across the fence
• Learning about leash walking, I’m a little unsure and don't love the leash, but I am catching on quickly. I will need a patient leader to help me understand
• Adoption fee is $190 & includes neuter voucher

What I really want is someone who will be patient with me as I keep learning and adjusting to this new chapter of life. I’m a very sweet boy with lots of love to give, and I think with a little guidance I’m going to make someone a really great companion.
