I got this motor a year ago on a trade, I cleaned the carb and did a service on it and it runs good. It is a long shaft model with a electric start. This motor was used as just a kicker motor majority of its life just for occasional trolling, It starts easily with a pull or two, the water pump I got told has been only used for part of the season last spring, It is very strong. There is some cosmetic wear of pealing paint but it does not effect the performance. Of all Honda generation of motors this is my favorite model that is really easy to service without paying the shops. I would not mind walking the future owners through it. These motors are made to last, they are a 4 stroke so no mixing fuel. As a kicker motor you will not use 3 gallons of fuel running it for over 12 hours.
