SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SUMMER LIVE-IN NANNY NEEDED (June – Mid August)
Want to spend a summer living a few minutes from the beach in Southern California while helping out with a fun family?
We’re looking for someone to live with us this summer and help with our four kids while they’re out of school.
We live in San Clemente, CA, just a short drive from the beach.
You’ll have:
• Your own private bedroom (downstairs)
• Your own bathroom
• Free room and board
• Access to our kitchen and household food
Timeframe: June 1 – Mid August
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Most evenings and weekends are yours, leaving plenty of time to explore, go to the beach, meet friends, and enjoy a Southern California summer. We may occasionally ask for help 1–2 evenings per week, but most nights will be free.
About the role:
You’ll mainly be helping my wife with our four kids during summer break. The job is less about strict childcare and more about being an extra set of hands to help keep the kids active and having fun.
Things like:
• Helping plan fun activities
• Taking kids to sports camps
• Playing outside
• Trips to the park, beach, or pool
• Helping keep things mostly screen-free
We have a good-sized backyard with a trampoline and access to a community pool, so there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained.
A little background:
In past summers we’ve had younger siblings live with us and fill this role. While having an aunt or uncle around is obviously a little different, it worked out great for everyone and made summers a lot easier and more fun.
We went to school in Utah and know that it can be a nice break to come to the beach for a few months. So if you are a BYU, UVU, or UofU student looking for a change of scenery, this coulbe be a great opportunity.
As a bonus, several of our siblings even ended up meeting their spouses while living in Southern California… so who knows, maybe lightning strikes again. No promises though.
Compensation:
• Free room and board
• Access to household food
• $500 per week
