PayPalLooking to rehome these two by no fault of their own, they have plenty of energy and are great horses that just aren’t getting used.
Located in Spring Creek, NV
•Rose 20 year old grade red roan quarter horse mare.3500.00
•Apple 23 year old grade palamino quarter horse gelding. 3000.00
Both of these horses are been there done that. They aren’t specially trained in anything specific but they’ll do whatever you ask. We’ve done barrels & poles, gymkhana’s, 4-H horse shows, trail rides, Silver State Stampede flag team, parades, we aren’t ropers but we’ve swung ropes off of both of them, nothing really bothers them. They are great kids horses, I’d say they lean a little more towards intermediate rider level just because they aren’t total dead heads and they sometimes will test who’s boss, not dangerous though. I did use each of them for horse lessons for beginners for a litte bit and they did great.
Some “quirks” to be aware of. Apple needs his teeth done yearly, possibly even more often at some point. The vet says he’s starting to lose some teeth so he starts dropping wads of hay. He was last done July of 2025.
Apple was starved before we got him and if he doesn’t have hay in front of him most of the day he will resort to eating dirt 🤦️ with that in mind he does need sand cleared routinely.
Rose is a little bit mareish; just with other horses coming up behind her, even her stallmates sometimes while riding. She hasn’t ever kicked or bucked she will just pin her ears and glare aggressively at them.
We would like them to go together if at all possible so 5000.00 for the pair.
