This is not your uncle's Catalina 27. In 1993 Catalina introduced the Luxury Edition to provide more performance and comfortable accommodations for the active family. It is larger with more space and stability , more storage, more efficient sail plan and a wide step-through sugar scoop transum with a large intigrated swim ladder. Has a full batten mainsail and a furling Jib on a double spreader sloop rig.. The assymetrical spinnaker and light air drifter sail are in very good to excellent condition as are the main and jib. Powered by an excellent Perkins diesel 18hp with only 200 hours and it runs like a dream. She also has autopilot, depth, wind speed/direcdtion, and knot meter at the helm.

Accommodations:

Enter a wide companionwy to an airy light salon featuring 5'9" head room, skylights, and the "L" shaped galley, Galley has hot and cold water, a propaine Seaward Stove, intigrated ice box, and lots of storage. To starboard is an enclosed head with marine head, pressure water , shower and an opening port. Aft is access door to the captains double berth with storage and access to the rear of the engine (there is also access to the engine front under the stairs).

Drive line:

Perkins 18hp-3cyl-200 hours-fixed bronze prop 1" shaft-Edson helm w/destroyer 32" wheel. Full engine service done with new lift pump, high pressure injection pump, glow plugs, fuel filters, fuel lines-fuel tank reconditioned, engine oil was flushed and changed.
