VenmoClassic 21' Mariah Shabah with trailer, tower, boardsports gear, and a long list of extras. This has been a great family lake boat with plenty of power, tons of storage, and a strong watersports setup.
This is a 1996 Mariah Shabah Z210, a 21' fiberglass stern-drive boat, about 2,800 lbs dry weight. Mariah’s original boats from this era are still well-liked for their sporty hulls, roomy layouts, and upscale styling for the time.
In 2017, a new MerCruiser Pro Series 350 long block was installed at a cost of about $6,000 (have receipt). The boat is currently winterized, so I won’t be starting it, but the batteries are good and the engine turns over. It ran great the last time we had it on the water in 2023. Since then it has been stored in our garage.
**What it needs:**The stern drive / outdrive needs attention. It had gear lube leak out, and I was quoted roughly $300–$900 depending on the repair. Someone mechanically inclined may be able to address it for less.
Features & equipment:
Included gear:
Electrical / battery setup:
This boat has a two-battery system with a Blue Sea Systems SI-ACR (Automatic Charging Relay) and start isolation. The system automatically manages charging between both batteries, so when the engine is running, it charges both without you having to think about it, while still protecting your starting battery.
It also has a manual battery switch with three positions: ON, OFF, and COMBINE (both batteries). In normal use, you leave it on ON and the system handles everything automatically. If needed, you can switch to COMBINE to tie both batteries together for extra starting power.
Additionally, it includes a NOCO Genius 2 onboard charger/maintainer, so you can plug the boat in while it’s stored and keep both batteries fully charged and maintained without removing them, great for extending battery life and being ready to go at the start of the season.
Condition: This boat is 30 years old, so it does show normal wear and tear. There are some cracks in the upholstery. Please see photos. Overall, this is a very solid package for someone wanting an affordable lake boat with tower, trailer, and a lot of gear included. With the outdrive issue addressed, it should make a fun setup for cruising, tubing and skiing.
