One of the more desired GMT800 trucks! This style holds its value better than it's newer body style replacements! I went to move it before I had shoulder surgery and every gear was neutral. Alas, it needs a transmission.
Engine was replaced 60-70K ago, T-case was done 50-60k ago, both by previous owner. Rear axle was done 8-10K miles ago by me. At that time all rear brakes/drums hardware was installed new to go with the reman axle. It's the G80 limited slip and has the 4.10 gear ratio.
Other work I've done in the few years I've owned it is as follows:
Alternator--higher amperage
Water pump
Front end parts: Tie rods, ball joints/control arms, idler and pitman arms, wheel bearings, front pads and rotors, pitman seal on gear box, right front axle seal.
When I replaced the front end parts I also added a leveling kit and 18" GMT900 wheels with larger tires. Alignment passed with flying colors.
Front end maybe has 1000 miles on it.
Truck has the LT1 package. Power windows/locks, steering wheel controls w/driver information center, auto/dual zone hvac, 40/20/40 front bench seat, Z71 off road package, trailering package with HD trans cooler.
Engine is the gas(not flex fuel) LM7 5.3L V8. Doesn't leak or use oil. Previous owner installed a K&N FIPK kit. No DOD/AFM to worry about with this truck!
Aside from the transmission, everything works great.
Make me an offer I can't refuse.
If it doesn't sell, as I get strength back in my arm, I'll replace the trans and sell it for a higher price!
