This here is Ruka. She is on the shorter side and probably around 14.2 hands. I have not taped her. This mare is green broke and knows the basics. She has a very smooth walk, trot, and lope. Will pick up both leads, soft in the bit and responds great to leg pressure. Needs an advanced rider or intermediate rider working with a trainer to complete her training. She will get out and move. Has a good stop and back. This girl is very much an in your pocket type of mare. Will follow us around the pasture looking for neck scratches. Will greet you at the gate to be caught. Just generally loves people. She has great ground manners, stands tied, loads up and backs out of the trailer, and stands for the farrier. Has never had shoes as she has solid hooves and never needed them. Still spooky with normal things like plastic bags. She does not bolt or buck under saddle aside from a few crow hops when she hasn't been rode for a while.
