Full refurbishing & refinishing on this 1943 Baldwin Acrosonic 36" spinet, one of the few spinet piano brands that consistently exceeds expectations in tone and touch. These are hard to come by in great condition, and this one turned out fantastic.
This piano is fully refinished and is in A+ cosmetic condition. Inside, we did a full refurbishing: reshaped hammers, tightened and aligned the action, lubricated everything, fully regulated it, and replaced the worn keytops. The result is a responsive, dynamic instrument that’s easy to control and enjoy.
My skilled piano artisans completed the following work on this piano:
- Thorough cleaning
- Cabinetry refinished
- Replicated period-accurate Acrosonic decal
- Reshaped hammers, tightened and lubricated action
- New keytops
- Full action regulation
- Pedals and hardware restored to like-new condition
- Final Prep and Tuning
- Voicing
- Pitch-raise
- Tuning to A-440
