Beautiful handcrafted miniature Portland cutter sleigh by well-known miniature sleigh maker Mike Olp of Olp Miniatures, Brooklyn, Wisconsin.

This piece comes from the estate of Doris Green, wife of a widely recognized Ohio carriage restorer and craftsman Wili Green.

It was retained by Doris as one of the finer pieces in their collection and was not included in the primary estate auction of Wili, making this an especially desirable provenance example for collectors.

Finished in an elegant deep burgundy coach paint with green wool upholstery, the sleigh features a finely executed hand-painted winter landscape panel on the rear, demonstrating the level of miniature detail associated with Olp’s higher-quality work.
