Please be aware of the Horse and Mule Trainer, Ole Lindgren.
The seller represented the mule as a “safe trail mule” that had been personally used by an outfitter who was getting out of the business. This description implied that the animal was reliable, experienced, and suitable for general riding and trail use. This mule seriously injured two professional horse trainers we hired to ride and train the mule. Ollie was aware of the history and chose not to disclose how the mule serious Injured the previous owner. We have spoken with neighbors and can verify this is the animal and Kurtley Peterson was the original owner who refuses to get back to us.
Additionally, the seller attempted to conduct the transaction under his daughter’s name rather than his own, raising concerns about transparency and accountability in the sale.
After the transaction and through further investigation, I discovered that the information provided was materially false and misleading. Specifically:
The mule was not a safe trail animal as represented
The outfitter referenced in the sale had been seriously injured by this mule
This injury and the mule’s dangerous behavior were not disclosed prior to the sale
The seller also made multiple inconsistent and misleading statements regarding:
The mule’s origin and prior ownership
The animal’s training, temperament, and use history
The circumstances under which the mule was being sold
These misrepresentations created a false and dangerous impression of the animal’s suitability and safety, placing buyers and others at risk of serious injury.
Furthermore, I have become aware of additional individuals who have had similar experiences involving this seller and the sale of other mules. These individuals have reported comparable patterns of misrepresentation, nondisclosure of known issues, and deceptive sales practices. Names and supporting information for these individuals are available and can be provided upon request. I have spoken with the local brand inspector and he admitted that he lacks character when it comes to training and selling animals. If anyone else has had similar experiences please reach out to us.
This pattern of conduct suggests that the actions described above were not isolated, but part of a broader course of deceptive behavior involving multiple animals and transactions.
This statement is made to accurately document the facts of this situation and to support any further review, investigation, or action deemed appropriate.
