Service includes : Free Basic Engine health assessment , prior to any work being done , if the engine is good , valve cover is removed next to inspect the condition of the cylinder head , camshafts and caps , in some cases plastic timing guides fall down into the oil pan and block off oil flow to the oil pump , which causes oil starvation and damage to cylinder head .
After the cylinder head inspection , oil pan removed and cleaned thoroughly , crankshaft and camshafts are locked in place with special tools , full timing set is replaced including the oil pump set . New oil pan and valve cover gaskets replaced along with the front crankshaft bolt and seal . Spark plugs inspected and replaced if necessary.
Engine assembled , new oil and filter added , followed by engine start up and test drive , once a normal operation and no leaks are confirmed , vehicle washed and returned to the customer . Warranty 5 years / 50000 miles , job may take up to 3 days to complete , it is complex and quality is priority.
