My name is Dominic and I am a scout in Lehi troop. I am 40 kits away from finishing my Eagle Scout project for Tabitha’s Way. I am looking for donations of new, sealed shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and deodorant. If you have extras in your pantry or unopened travel/medium sizes, I can pick them up anytime.

In late 2025, there was a major SNAP (food stamp) crisis caused by a combination of a federal government shutdown and significant funding cuts from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. By November 2025, benefits for nearly 42 million Americans were delayed or frozen. This put unprecedented pressure on food banks, which reported a perfect storm of rising demand and falling federal support (the USDA had cut $500 million from emergency food programs earlier that year).

I lead the effort in my Eagle Scout project back then to rapidly collect and assemble over 60 kits and donated those along with hundreds of additional partial kits to fill this urgent need in our community. But my goal is for 100 completed kits and I would like to collect and donate those kits in the next few weeks to complete my entire project.
