ZelleWe need to rehome our 6.5-year-old female purebred Rottweiler, Mora. She has great energy and enjoys playing and being silly but also loves relaxing and hanging out with her people.
This has been a very difficult decision for our family and we are heartbroken, but some tension has developed between her and one of our other dogs, and we feel she would be happiest as the only pet in the home.
Mora is spayed, fully housebroken, up to date on vaccinations, and can stay inside up to 10 hours without accidents or chewing. She knows several commands (sit, down, wait), rides well in the car, loves water (sprinklers, hoses, kiddie pools), and will chase bubbles if you blow them for her.
She spends much of her day snoozing around the house but also does great in a kennel or behind a baby gate. Her other favorite hobbies are running in the backyard barking at herself, and howling at sirens.
Her best home would be a single adult or couple with older children/no children and no other pets. She is great with kids, but she’s a big girl and tends to play a little rough. She has leash reactivity toward other dogs, so we don’t recommend dog parks or walks/hikes where other dogs would be present.
She will come with food, an e-collar, a no-pull harness/leash, and chew toys.
We love Mora very much and want to find the right home for her. We’re happy to answer questions and have potential adopters come meet her to ensure it’s a good fit.
If you think you may be a good fit, please message telling us a little about yourself and the home you could provide for Mora. A home with a fenced yard is best, even a small yard, because taking her out from an apartment could be an issue with other dogs nearby.
A rehoming fee applies to ensure a responsible placement.
