ZelleAlmost guaranteed to be one of a kind, and the only one you or your friends will ever see, will make this one heck of a conversation piece for your yard or garden, or wherever. This very old, small person sized bed frame might be dated as far back as the pioneer days. It seems to have some basic iron work in what looks like a gothic style, with a head end that is a little larger than the foot end, which makes me believe this to be a bed frame. Too small to be for a regular sized adult, but a little too big to be for a small child, seems to be for young adults or teens, or something like that. Sometimes called 'funsized'! LOL Definately has seen decades in the weather, as is obvious from the rusted metal. Some thinner areas might need some reinforcement from being rusted, but the main frame and head and tail ends are still solid enough metal. Today i believe it could be a wonderful garden piece, or even outfitted to be a raised herb and/or spice garden, with trays made to fit inside the bedframe and would sit a little above the ground. Another idea; those head and tail ends could be outfitted with some sort of decorative or stained glass making them look like a gothic style window from an old european cathedral. The dimensions are 5 ft 2 inches long and 30 inches wide, and the bottom rail of the bed frame sits about 12 inches off the ground, and its top rail is 8 inches taller than that. The high point of the decorative head end sits at 58 inches high, and the foot end sits 49 inches high. I have no idea what something like this is worth. I have no experience in these things, as well as not any knowledge in exactly what it is, all educated guesses. But I do see artistic possibilities that could bring this up to the 21st century, giving it new life and purpose, as well as being a one of a kind art piece bridging the earliest years of the west to the ultra modern world of automation and AI, and sparking curiosity and conversations for years to come.
