How it works: Sway control auto-adjusts to tongue load weight. The sway control in the ball housing system self-adjusts to tongue load—meaning the heavier the load the greater the sway control. Recommend at least 300 lbs on the tongue to allow the mechanism to be able to provide anti-sway using the friction material in the housing.

With the coupler attached to the Tapered Ball, there's no need for grease. The ball connects to anti-sway plate, integrating the motion-dampening chain & spring system.

The Friction Cone is a brake-like material that works with the tapered ball and ball housing to eliminate sway. The friction between the tapered ball and housing allows the hitch to “self-adjust” according to the tongue weight. The Anti-Sway Ball Housing securely holds the tapered ball and friction cone in place. The two holes allow for height adjustment on the adjustment rack
